USF Doc: OCD Should be Treated Early

About four million Americans suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder -- one million of them are under 18. And this weekend, the largest conference dedicated to OCD gets underway in San Diego.

USF researcher Eric Storch is an expert in how OCD affects children. He says he's seen children as young as two with symptoms.

He recently told WUSF's Susan Giles Wantuck it’s important to be diagnosed and treated early.
