Florida Unemployment in Single Digits

TAMPA (2011-1-20) -

Governor Rick Scott jumped on a conference call with reporters to personally announce the Florida unemployment numbers for December. They dropped from 10 per cent to 9.9 per cent. That's the first time unemployment numbers in Florida hit single digits in two-and-a-half years. Still, It's just a drop of a tenth of a per cent. But, Alexis Muellner of the "Tampa Bay Business Journal" says he thinks the Governor's good mood about hitting single digits in unemployment is understandable.
