On the Radio

On November 7th, Florida voters will choose a governor and a US senator as well as numerous other state and municipal officials. They will also be asked to vote “yes” or “no” on six constitutional amendments. But, with the election less than a week away, polls show most voters know very little about those initiatives.
Among the changes voters may choose to approve:
a measure to force the state to spend more on youth anti-smoking campaigns
tax breaks for low-income seniors and disabled veterans
an initiative to make it illegal for governments to seize property through eminent domain
changes to the rules on how all these constitutional amendments make it to the ballot
Florida Matters will sort through the amendments and help you make a more informed decision.
