Goodbye to PIP
Florida's no-fault auto insurance system is scheduled to sunset on Oct. 1, 2007. Personal Injury Protection insurance, or "PIP," was introduced in the early 1970s. PIP was meant to compensate people injured in auto accidents for their injuries and lost wages regardless of fault. How will the scheduled insurance change affect Florida drivers?
