On the Radio

Tammy Curtis adopted 16-year-old Ronderick last year from foster care.
Adoptions in Florida

When a 15-year-old boy appeared before a church congregation last month, pleading for someone to adopt him, tens of thousands of folks responded. In spite of that, there are hundreds of kids who are not making headlines and still are waiting for that call.

We talk with Ashley Rhodes-Courter, former foster care child and author of the book "Three Little Words;" Tammy Curtis, mother of Ronderick whom she adopted from foster care last year; and Loryn Smith, social worker and adoptive parent, about the realities of foster care in Florida.
