On the Radio
Valerie Wojciechowicz
Valerie Wojciechowicz was 7 years old when her father died and her mother went to work full-time to support two children. That left her with many adult responsibilities at an early age. She says that responsibility was the foundation of her work ethic – but it was also the start of a series of problems with alcohol and drugs. Valerie’s now an HIV-AIDS awareness educator and talks with former Florida Stories Producer Eric Jordan about how her life found a new direction.
