This week's University Beat on WUSF TV recaps the recent "Perlman Music Program" at USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. During the two week Winter Residency, over thirty young, gifted musicians from around the globe learn from faculty led by world-renowned violinist and composer Itzhak Perlman, as well as take part in over twenty public recitals and performances.
Also: The founders of Wikipedia and eMedicine were among the presenters at a recent USF discussion of the ever-expanding use of technology in the field of medicine. This week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7 recaps the event.
