Preparations are underway for a space shuttle launch in Florida. It can be the next to previous to fly. There are only two more entries on the NASA space shuttle launch schedule. One will be taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 3 in Cape Canaveral as the space shuttle Discovery will blast into orbit.

The artwork of Polk middle school students will be featured at the Polk Museum of Art from November 20 to January 2, 2011. The title of the show is “Art Out Loud: Middle Schools Exhibition.” The Polk Museum of Art is located at 800 East Palmetto St., Lakeland.
