12th Congressional District Creative Youth Art Show

The Polk Museum of Art will host the 12th Congressional District Creative Youth Art Show from Tuesday, March 9 to Sunday, April 11. Art displayed is the best work of high school students in Florida’s 12th Congressional District. One piece of art will be chosen to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol. The Polk Museum of Art is located at 800 East Palmetto Street, Lakeland.

Florida Conversations

The 2009-2010 season of Florida Conversations continues with a Chautauqua-style performance of Notes from Cross Creek: Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings at Her Salty Best by Betty Jean Steinshouer on Sunday, March 21st at 3:00 pm at the Tampa Bay History Center.

Health & Resource Fair

Many service providers from our area will be there including Family Learning Solutions, PEACE Lakeland, Learning Resource Center, Pediatric Therapy Services, Crystal Otter, Central Florida Speech and Hearing, and many other providers TBA!

For the kids: Moonwalk, Tricycle Races, Hamster Ball Races, Team Races!

Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater to Host Traveling Museum

The traveling Farm Worker Slavery Museum will be on display at the Unitarian Universalists Church of Clearwater (UUC), Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
