A new form of technology that could change the way we look at solar energy has been created in the lab of a USF physics professor. University Beat on WUSF-TV shines a light on the first-of-its kind transparent solar window that’s capable of generating electricity. Also: USF has been in the national headlines recently due to its research into the Gulf oil disaster—but that’s not the only area USF is making advancements in. The University is making plans for “Research One,” a week-long event that celebrates the work of USF faculty, staff and student researchers and scholars, from science to the arts, petroleum to poetry!
