Dolphins jumping through the wake of the R/V Weatherbird II USF-Gulf Oil Research
This week's University Beat on WUSF-TV wraps up a special three-part series that takes you aboard the R/V Weatherbird II with a team of oceanographers from USF's College of Marine Science. This time, we meet oceanographers and engineers who’ve traveled close to the Deepwater Horizon oil leak site and get their feelings about the disaster and how their work might just change USF’s College of Marine Science.
Also: This week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7 FM once again takes you aboard the research vessel, Weatherbird II. Producer Mark Schreiner introduces you to USF oceanographers and crew members of the Weatherbird II who've visited the Horizon oil leak site.
