Moonlight Carillon Concert Series

Experience Bok Tower Gardens in a different light during the 2010 Moonlight Carillon Concert Series. Visitors can experience the Gardens by the light of a full moon for half-price admission, have a light dinner at the Blue Palmetto Café and enjoy an hour-long concert by carillonneur William De Turk.

Music at Pinewood - Romance of Spain

The Music at Pinewood concert series offers a chamber music experience in the intimate performance setting in the 20-room mansion at Pinewood Estate. The final concert in this series will be “Romance of Spain” with pianist Vladimir Svoysky on March 14. It’s a story of love, jealousy and revenge!

Florida Strawberry Growers Association does not want customers to be surprised if they notice the lack of strawberries on the shelves, the recent cold weather has left them with less than 1/5 of what they had during the same time last year. And WUSF takes an in depth look at new proposed water treatment and reclamation techniques in an effort to ease the ever-increasing water demand.

USF Anthropology students work inside a grave excavation
This week’s University Beat on WUSF-TV takes you to a cemetery where a USF anthropologist is joined by a team of students in helping Saint Petersburg Police excavate a trio of long-buried bodies, which will hopefully finally give the families of these unnamed murder victims some sense of closure.

In an effort to find out the identities of three murder victims, including one who was killed over 40 years ago, the Saint Petersburg Police turn to forensic anthropologists from USF for help.
