Also: USF rocked as the university's Geology Department and the Geology Alumni Society teamed up for the recent "USF GeoExpo." In 1980 Piero Rivolta, Son of Italian car designer Renzo Rivolta, moved to Sarasota from his native Italy in search of business climate that better suited his maverick personality and passion for innovative design. It was in Sarasota that Piero discovered his passion for designing yachts and for the arts. Recently Piero sat down with long time friend Richard Storm where he discussed his passion for writing, sailing and his inspiration for innovation.
