USF Piano Performance master's students perform on a pair of Steinway pianos Steinway School / Inertia: The Musical
USF is joining an exclusive club as an “All-Steinway School,” with the goal of replacing the pianos currently on campus with hand-crafted Steinways. This week’s University Beat on WUSF-TV/DT shows you how this multi-million dollar project will help USF students make some beautiful music.
Also: It’s probably one of the boldest, most challenging thesis statements ever at the University of South Florida, as an honors student creates a musical. Not a one-man, one-act performance, but a full-on, two-hour original production involving a cast and crew of sixty people! This week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7 FM brings you a look at Inertia: The Musical and introduces you to the man behind it, Chris Sgammato.
