The 2010 La Musica International Chamber Music Festival starts this Friday with an examination of how composers were influenced by or rebelled against their contemporaries. Join Russell Gant for a preview of this year's Festival as musicians from La Musica stop by our studios to play some Beethoven for you, and tell us about some highlights featured this year.
Expanding Offshore Drilling

The move comes on the heels of efforts in Florida last fall to open state waters for oil and natural gas exploration. The state’s oil and gas industry is cautiously optimistic about the president’s move while environmentalists worry it’s the beginning of a big expansion in federal- and state-controlled waters. We’ll hear reaction to the federal plan and talk about what it means for Florida.
