This week’s University Beat on WUSF-TV takes a closer look at USF Health’s new initiative “Bringing Science Home” through the eyes of the people who formed it and the patients who will both be served by the project and help direct it.
Also: Last fall, in response to the move to eliminate the off-shore oil drilling ban, a group of Florida authors began work on an anthology of stories and poems about the Gulf of Mexico. Now, in light of the Gulf oil disaster, UnspOILed, which features the contributions of a number of students and professors from USF St. Petersburg, has been released. This week’s University Beat talks to some of the writers about how putting their feelings onto paper is helping them.
