"Of Mice and Men" Spoken and Sung

Sarasota Opera and the FSU/Asolo Conservatory will present their third annual "Spoken and Sung" presentation in preparation for the upcoming Sarasota Opera production of Carlisle Floyd's opera "Of Mice and Men". The opera is based on John Steinbeck's novel and play. Third year Asolo Conservatory students will present sections from Steinbeck's play followed by Sarasota Opera Studio Artists performing the corresponding scenes from Floyd's opera.
