You'll need a computer and an internet connection (preferably broadband). If you want to take your podcasts with you, you'll need a portable digital audio player. You will need a software program (sometimes referred to as “podcatching” software) that can manage your podcasts; WUSF 89.7 recommends iTunes from Apple (Version 4.9 or higher includes Podcast support.) Once you choose and install the podcatching software, you're ready to subscribe (for free) to your favorite podcasts and listen at your leisure. Podcatching software, like iTunes, will automatically update podcasts if configured to do so.
