Voices for Children of Tampa Bay & Little Greek Restaurant Host
“Party in the Park”
Tampa, FL…..Voices for Children of Tampa Bay and Little Greek Restaurant announced they are throwing a party! “Party in the Park” is a family friendly event that will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 3-9 PM in Curtis Hixon Park, Downtown Tampa. The event will offer food, fun, music and entertainment, with no admission charge. “Party in the Park” will benefit the abused, abandoned and neglected children of Hillsborough County. Everyone is invited to attend! The party hopes to create awareness, raise funds and recruit volunteers.

“We wanted to do something different that would include our entire community and be fun for all ages. We wanted to create a fundraising event that would last longer and provide a diverse
range of entertainment, food and fun. We felt a festive “Party in the Park” would be just perfect!” according to Betsy Smith, Executive Director of Voices for Children.

Little Greek Restaurant, President and majority partner Nick Vojnovic, explained their interest in supporting this event. “We are members of this community and are expanding. We want to lend our assistance where we can and believe the mission of Voices for Children is positive and needs to be supported.” More details about the Party can be found at: www.curtishixonparty.com.

Ian Beckles, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and co-host on the Ron and Ian Show, is the MC for the party. Highlighting the day will be live music from the: Vodkanauts, The Hip Abduction and FUNKN 8.
