A unique, two-week music camp held each holiday season at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus, it was founded 15 years ago by Toby Perlman, the wife of virtuoso violinist Itzhak Perlman. This musical oasis attracts students who come from all over the world to learn from one of the world’s great musicians. The Perlman Program faculty also includes former students who are now successful because of what they learned there. One of them is violinist Giora Schmidt.
