PoetryLife: Above and Beyond Dinner with W.S. Merwin and Naomi Shihab Nye

Above and Beyond Dinner, Friday, May 3 at 6:00 pm, Florida Studio Theatre’s Court Cabaret. Tickets $45 (includes dinner). This event is part of PoetryLife weekend, May 3-4, which honors students, educators and the creative community in which we live. The Above and Beyond dinner honors local educators who go above and beyond to bring the joy of poetry to their students. The evening will feature readings by former U.S. Poet Laureate W.S. Merwin and award-winning poet Naomi Shihab Nye, as well as by the winners of the high school student Poetry Slam which will be held at Florida Studio Theatre on the morning of April 29.
