PoetryLife: Young Poets Celebration Dinner with W.S. Merwin and Naomi Shihab Nye

Young Poets Celebration Dinner, Saturday, May 4 at 6:00 pm. The Francis on Palm Avenue in downtown Sarasota. Tickets $75, includes dinner. Student poetry awards and a poetry presentation and community discussion featuring Former Poet Laureate, and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, W. S. Merwin, with award-winning poet Naomi Shihab Nye. Proceeds from this event support the Poetry Fund for teachers of poetry.
