Clearwater Friends Meeting, Quakers, will be hosting a series of weekly sessions on Quaker faith and practices on consecutive Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning January 23rd through February 27th, 2013. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 each evening. These meetings will be held at the Scottish American Society Hall, 917 Louden Ave., Dunedin, Florida 34698.
Our local members will talk about their experiences as Quakers. Quakers honor diversity of race, sexual orientation, national origin and religious background. We concern ourselves with the practice of peaceful methods and value simplicity, integrity, equality and community.
If you are seeking a spiritual path that encourages exploration, then please join us in our discussions. We impose no doctrine, accepting that we need to live according to our individual theological understanding. You will also be welcome to join us in a brief period of silent Quaker worship.
