On Radio and Television

USF recently hosted a one day "Obesity Action Summit," bringing together over 250 stakeholders - legislators, researchers, employers and health trainers - to put together a plan to take on obesity. Attendees heard presentations from former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and other speakers concerned with a problem that affects as much as two-thirds of the American population. The summit's goal was to come up with ways to help people already affected as well as deter future generations from becoming obese.
