On the Radio
University Beat doesn’t normally cover graduation ceremonies, but when the words “graduating accounting students” and “dancing flash mob” are involved, we’ll make an exception. That’s coming up this week on WUSF 89.7 FM.
Radio - During "Morning Edition" on WUSF 89.7 Tuesday after the 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM newscasts | During "All Things Considered" on WUSF 89.7 Tuesday at 5:44 PM | After "Florida Matters" on WSMR 89.1 Monday at 10:30 PM
Television - Tuesdays at 11:55 AM and 8:55 PM, and various times throughout the rest of the week
Graduating USF Accounting seniors Stephanie Wagenfohr and Rich Grieder, along with Dr. William Stephens, Professor Emeritus of the USF School of Accountancy, talk about the ‘stereotypical accounting student’ and why that’s wrong.
Dr. Stephens, the faculty adviser for USF’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi for over 30 years, says membership in the accounting honors society provides students many benefits.
