Small Business Development / Hospice Students (rebroadcast)

Small Business Development

With the American economy still in recovery mode, small businesses are struggling to survive just as much as their larger counterparts, if not more so. The University of South Florida is trying to help these vital companies through its Small Business Development Center and this week’s University Beat on WUSF-TV has more on the important work that the Center is doing to encourage the growth of would-be entrepreneurs.

Hospice Students (rebroadcast)

An unusual clerkship at the USF College of Medicine takes students out of the classroom and puts them in the home of a terminal patient. This week's University Beat on WUSF 89.7 FM shows you how the hospice experience is creating more empathetic future physicians.
