Members of USF’s Greek community competed to determine who has the best firefighting skills – and while they didn’t have to put out a fire, they had to complete some of the other physically demanding tasks that real firefighters have to do. About 400 members of USF’s Greek system braved a cool and wet day to see who had the best firefighting skills. As we’ll hear this week on University Beat on WUSF 89.7, the competition raised funds for a memorial for Tampa firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
