7,000 walkers, runners & wheelchair racers are expected to take part in the 9th Annual Miles for Moffitt, May 10th on USF’s Tampa campus. In its first eight years, the event has raised almost $1.5 million dollars, with all of the registration fees going directly to cancer research. University Beat on WUSF TV has a preview.

Runners and walkers are stretching their legs and tying their shoes as they prepare for Miles for Moffitt, coming up Saturday, May 10th on USF’s Tampa campus. In its first eight years, the event has raised almost one and a half million dollars—with all registration fees going directly to Moffitt Cancer Center research. We’ll have a preview of Miles for Moffitt on this week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7.
