Culinary Innovation Lab (rebroadcast) / Pint of Science
‘On the job’ training for students at USF Sarasota-Manatee’s College of Hospitality and Technology Leadership just got a little easier with the opening of the school’s new Culinary Innovation Lab in Lakewood Ranch. We’ll take you to the grand opening of the upscale teaching facility on a rebroadcast of University Beat on WUSF TV.
Scientists from USF and Moffitt Cancer Center recently traded in their lab goggles for beer goggles. It was all part of “Pint of Science,” a worldwide festival that saw researchers pull up a stool at local bars to talk with people about their work in plain English. This week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7 has a night cap - uh, recap.
