USF geochemist Jeffrey Ryan is teaching a class this fall – only he’s working in the Pacific Ocean, more than 7,000 miles away from Tampa! Ryan joins University Beat on WUSF Public Media from the research vessel where he’s currently conducting research to tell us how his experiences will help the next generation of aspiring scientists.
The recent USF College of Business Scholarship Luncheon honored around 175 students who received almost $400,000 dollars in awards. On this week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7, we meet some of the award-winning students, who shared their inspiring stories and the words of thanks they have for the generous benefactors that helped them out.
