As part of its 2013 Israel Film Festival, the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee presents Room 514, about a young, idealistic Israeli military investigator who confronts an elite IDF officer with an accusation of unnecessary violence against a Palestinian man, putting her integrity and determination to the test as the case proves less black and white than it originally seemed. This film is intended for mature audiences only. March 21, 7 p.m., at Beatrice Friedman Theater, 582 McIntosh Road, Sarasota. Tickets are $7 per film. A six-film festival pass is $36.
