Animalia, an innovative animated series using computer-generated imagery (also known as CGI), features a group of literate animals that live in their own magical world. These witty characters are joined by 11-year-old humans, Zoe and Alex, in an effort to restore order in Animalia, whose very heart – the Core – is being threatened.
In addition to being a visual delight for children, Animalia illustrates positive social messages and important character traits such as cooperation, persistence and creativity. It also reinforces language use and literacy, by showcasing characters that enjoy reading, writing, speaking and investigating.
