Audio iconListen now
State and federal officials say health care, affordable housing, and educational performance are among the challenges facing African Americans in Florida this year.

NPR's Juan Williams joins Eric Deggans of the St. Petersburg Times and Joseph Brown of the Tampa Tribune to discuss problems and solutions for the black community; a condition Williams describes as a "culture of failure" and the role of the media.

Juan Williams is a Senior Correspondent with National Public Radio and a political analyst with Fox News. His new book "Enough" examines the state of today's black leadership and the racial divide in America.

Join WUSF's Carson Cooper for Florida Matters Friday evening at 6:30 pm, and Saturday at Noon, on WUSF 89.7, your NPR Station.
