Clarification
A viral video depicting signature gatherers remains available on the Florida Chamber of Commerce's Web site. The video was removed from the Chamber's Hometown Scam Web page following an inquiry from Florida Matters.
 
A 66-word sentence is pitting environmentalists and preservationists against developers and business groups. What makes this sentence so contentious is that it would give voters the final say in any changes to local land use plans. On Florida Matters, we look at the so called “Hometown Democracy” amendment.
