8:00 am Sewing with Nancy "Embellishment 101 - Blank to Beautiful" Part 3 #1803 Nancy uses fabric bias strips to make chenille trim for a "blank" shirt and transforms it into a fashionable wardrobe component. She then adds bartacked flowers and optimized stitches to other read-mades, including a tote she enhances with stenciling and stitching.

8:30 am Linda MacPhee's Workshop #107 Linda is joined by guest, Karen Gibbs who makes a Positive/Negative vest. Then, Cindy Hoppe highlights skills used in pieced jackets incorporating crochet, men's and women's wool suits, men's ties, quilting, stenciling and dying. The show ends with Eileen Roche demonstrating how to work with wool felt appliqué.

9:00 am Fons and Porter’s Love of Quilting "Radiant Blue" Part 1 #1002 Marianne and Liz demonstrate designer Marsha McCloskey's bias-strip piecing method for making half-square triangles plus other tips for making Feathered Star blocks.

They explain how to select and cut fabrics, then how to stack, channel stitch and join strips. They use finishing seams to complete this reversible quilt.

8:30 am Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel "The World Quilt and Textile Show Revisited" #1105 Visit Greenborough, NC, where Georgia meets quilting teachers from South Africa, Ireland and England.

9:00 am Quilt In A Day "Birds in the Air Quilt" Part 2 #2207 Eleanor sets the quilt blocks on point, and demonstrates how to create messages in your quilt by the placement of blocks and by using unique quilting stitches.
