Dvorak's Serenade for Strings
Antonin Dvorak wrote his Serenade for Strings when he was in his early years of marriage, he had a brand-new baby boy at home and for once, he knew for certain that he would be able to put bread on the table. It was a happy time. And that period is reflected in tonight's Evening Masterwork on Classical WSMR, Dvorak's Serenade for Strings. Join Susan Giles Wantuck to hear it at 7 this evening on WSMR 89.1, Sarasota, 103.9 Tampa and online at wsmr.org.
