Musica Sacra presents Going Baroque at Christmas - AGAIN!
Musica Sacra of Sarasota presents two of the Baroque era's most famous choral/orchestral works in the opening event of their 2018-2019 season: "Going Baroque at Christmas - AGAIN!". JS Bach's much beloved cantata BWV 140 "Wachet Auf" is teamed with "The Christmas Story" of Heinrich Schütz, with additional seasonal favorites rounding out the program. Chorus and orchestra under the direction of Musica Sacra's Artistic Director Dr. Robert Parrish combine to make this concert one of the most highly anticipated events of the season.
Soloists for the event include tenor Robert Lischetti and bass Daniel Cartlidge. The setting for this Baroque spectacular is the arcitectural and acoustical beauty of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer sanctuary.
Tickets to "Going Baroque at Christmas - AGAIN!" are priced at $25 and are available online using your debit or credit card at www.MusicaSacraSarasota.org or by telephone at 941.405.7322.
